Drake and PartyNextDoor‘s highly-anticipated joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, was released on Valentine’s Day, and the duo’s collaborative project has already broken the record for the biggest first-day streaming figures for an R&B/soul album in Apple Music’s history. The 21-track, 74-minute record marks Drake’s first full-length album since 2023’s For All The Dogs, and is PartyNextDoor’s follow-up to 2024’s P4. Two days before the album dropped, Drake brought out PND during a concert in Melbourne as part of his Anita Max Wynn Tour. The pair surprised the Australian crowd by debuting some new tracks that night. “I got an album coming out on February 14 with my brother PartyNextDoor,” Drake told the crowd. “It’s called $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, but it’s some turned-up songs for you on there, too, and there’s some personal feelings on there for you.” (Billboard)
